Celebrating Africa at the SKC

Celebrating Africa Image 1

We truly celebrated Africa last night at Luca Del Bono’s breathtaking new South Kensington Club.

Bex joined forces with World-renowned photographers Carol Beckwith and Angela Fisher to showcase the SS15 Future Warrior collection,  with a presentation by the wondrous duo who took us on a journey into their travels across Africa in anticipation for their latest book coming our “African Twilight’s”.

Angela and Carol’s work has been a huge influence into Bex’s work since a young age, taking inspiration from the Dinka Tribes and the Maasai which was shown last night with a curated display of Carol and Angela’s Limited Edition books and Bex’s handmade in Africa collection..

The Future Warrior collection has been hand crafted by local artisans in Kenya in collaboration with Crea.  Each piece takes up to 3 weeks to make and supports the local communities.

Guests included inventor Ross Lovegrove, super model Lauren Hutton, Fashion stylist Daniela Agnelli, amongst many more..

Thank you to Luca Del Bono for having us, Antonia Plunkett ( events and head of membership ), Carol and Angela for your constant support and inspiration and for all our guests that came along.

It was a truly WOW event
